Sunday, January 23rd, 2011Pantone my Art: Exhibition group show, Zxerokool Artwork Recap: When I first got assigned the pantone color of “Fluorescent Pink” to create a series of artworks, I was initially worried because I had never done a predominantly pink based artwork series before. However I got the idea to take the usual saying “Real men wear pink” and subvert it by way of pop-culture-icon-portrait renderings of some of the most bad-ass anti-heroes in movie history. I call this series “Anti Heroes With Long Hair”, see if you can name all of them in the pics above & below…
Golden Star Destroyer by Zxerokool flies to Melbourne

The Golden star Destroyer by Zxerokool will be part of this collection presented. ACCLAIM magazine is helping Feiyue to curate this show which will be held on the 3rd of February 2011. SBTG’s shoe sculpture, which takes the form of a mystical bird (pictured above), will also be shown. More details in the poster above…

in with my ‘current body of work’ or the ’stuff that zxerokool is known for’, but I do like to try other things from time to
time. Resident art exhibition curator / organizer / hommie Steve Lawler (a.k.a Mojoko) mentioned that there was this
art mosh party being put together by the good people over at NIXON and I decided to join in the fun…
