Men's Folio & Fashion group Club 21 invited ZXEROKOOL to illustrate a
piece in conjunction with the Club 21 group's 35th Anniversary. Published
in an issue of Men's Folio: Club 21 Special Supplement.

Title: Fashion Kaleidoscope
This illustration reflects the essence of Club 21, a blend of different fashion styles for
men and women. It is symbolic of the ever changing winds of fashion and represents how
Club 21 is always one step ahead of the curve. Just like how a Kaleidoscope operates as
an optical instrument in which shards of glass, together with a rotating tube, are shown in
continually changing symmetrical forms by reflection in two or more mirrors set
at angles to each other.

Having watched Planet Terror lately I was inspired by the film's no holds barred approach.
Also, I'm a big fan of classic grindhouse posters and vintge sci-fi stuff such as Forbidden Planet.
Decided to go wild with a graphic and illustration mash up made up of various elements. Infused
the Grindhouse concept with classic arcade game design sensibilities.

going "Green" in a noble bid to save our dying earth. Also, it was done in relation to all the "Green
endeavors" in recent times / popular culture. I was commissioned to come up with illustrations that
would accentuate the essence of this article / spread.
